Game Rules

Gladiatus.us Game Rules

The following points will be valid for all
Provinces (Servers) listed at www.Gladiatus.us.

If you are in doubt of any of the points below or have been
banned, please contact your GameOperators, for example with
IRC or via the ticketsystem ( http://support.gladiatus.us ).

Note that complaints and inquires regarding particular accounts
will only be disclosed to their owners for privacy reasons.

Each player is allowed to control no more then a single account per World (Server).

If two or more accounts are usually, occasionally, or permanently being played from the same network, a Game Operator must be notified without exception.

If you play in a network it is forbidden - under all circumstances - to get in touch with the other account(s) on your IP.
That means for example that you aren´t allowed to attack the same target within 6 hours and you may not trade items to each other.

It is allowed to join the same alliance if the GO did not explicit forbid to do so.

Each account is entitled to be played by a single player at a time, account sitting being the only exception.

Account Sitting is allowed.
Account sitting entitles a given player to have his account watched over under the following regulations:

- A Game Operator must be informed before the sitting takes place, for example by IRC or opening a ticket.
- An approved IP-Sharing is only valid for the server, you got the permission for. That means, an IP-Sharing has to be requested for each server seperately!
- The account may only be sat for 10 days from the 1st login of the account sitter
- After the account sitting, neither the account nor the account sitter may participate in account sitting for next 10 days.
- Don't attack the same target or targets (enemy player) using both accounts. This means you may NOT attack the same player(s) with both accounts.
- Participate in any activity that will benefit one account at the detriment / with the help of the other is forbidden.

This includes, but is not limited to:

- Attacking the same enemy player to gain better ranks in the arena
- Selling overpriced items from one account and buying with another
- Use the gold of the account being sitted for any gain to the account that is sitting.

The sitter may not:
- Change / delete any account characteristics
- Change / delete user information (email,..)
- Change the guild of the account

Account exchanges within a single world can be done with the assistance of a Game Operator.
Account exchanges between 2 worlds can be done with the assistance of a SuperGameOperator.

No complaints will be processed in cases where the players do not trade their accounts without a (Super)GameOperator.

Once a given account changes its owner, 28 days must pass before it changes ownership again.

More than 5 attacks on a single player within any 24 hour period is defined as bashing and thus not allowed.

Players may only attack arena targets within the level allowance as per table below.
However, players may attack any and as many opponents as you like outside this level allowance twice in any 24hr period.
These borders do only count for attacks on lower players. Everyone is allowed to attack someone higher as the other rules allow it.

Level 1-15 - 6 levels
Level 16-20 - 8 levels
Level 21-30 - 12 levels
Level 31-35 - 14 levels
Level 36-45 - 18 levels
Level 46-60 - 24 levels
Level 61-80 - 28 levels
Level 81-100 - 35 levels
Level 101-150 - 45 levels
Level 151 - ... - 50 levels

Everyone is allowed to create a new guild every 24 hours at the most to prevent guildbashing.

Only attacks in the normal arena count for bashing. Attacks in Circus Turma don´t.

If two guilds start a war, more than these 5 (2) attacks will be allowed.

There are certain rules for war declarations, which need to be considered:
War Rules ( War Rules )

Pushing is forbidden.
The so called "Pushing specialist" is responsible for enforcing this rule and for all questions and requests.

Pushing and Pulling are the same process, just in opposite directions. For the purpose of this rule we will use the term pushing to describe transfer in either direction.

Pushing is defined as the transfer of items or gold without adequate reward to the seller.

In extreme cases a ban can be issued even if the prices, the items were sold for, was adequate.
An extreme case is for example when many items are being sold from a low level player to a high level player, so that the lower one is pulled.
To decide if something is such an "extreme case" is up to the game administration and the pushing specialist.

This can be done in either the market or guild market.

Items are defined as those material possessions that are acquired from the auction, markets, vendors, quests and dungeon awards. In other words, game items only.

“Reward” is limited to another item of similar value or gold.

Items that are rare can be sold for an amount higher than their value.

If you are not sure if the reward you are offering is adequate, ask the pushing specialist.

The reward must be paid within 24 hours.

Notification of Arena pot splits must be done within 24 hours after the battle took place.

Limitations:

It is allowed to sell an item way overpriced to save one’s gold. This is known as Banking. The gold has to be paid back within 24 hours with the same item that was used for the first half of the banking transaction. If there is a problem with the bank, such that items are mixed up or such, send a ticket to the pushing specialist and tell him about the problem. This will help in stopping an unwanted ban.

Guilds are not to be sold or bought.

If a player wants to give another player a present such as gear, food, upgrades and mercenaries, it must be done in the guild warehouse.

There are no service contracts. No bodyguards, auction watchers, advisors, etc. Bounty Hunters are allowed in the Circus Venatio only.

There is no pot splitting in the Circus Turma. What gold you win is yours only.

Using a bug for profit intentionally or not reporting a bug intentionally is strictly forbidden and can result in a ban.

Using a program as interface between the player and his game is prohibited. Any other form of automatically generated information generated for a group of players advantage with malicious intentions is forbidden as well.

This includes but is not limited to:
- Bots
- Macros

Only exceptions to this are programs that are expressly approved by GameForge.

Any form, way and or any attempt to get personal profit unfairly out of any staff member's decision is forbidden.

This includes but is not limited to:

- Reporting messages that do not break or point at any breaking of the rules.
- Reporting someone for bashing although you are in an approved war with the other players' guild.

Any situation intended to saturate a players interface through any method is forbidden.

This includes but is not limited to:

- Personal Messages spam
- Advertising other games or content

Anything that causes offense by being of an unacceptable quality that may hurt an individuals integrity is strictly forbidden.
The standards in the game environment will be set by the game team to meet the users moral views. Content might be censored, punished in a temporary or permanent basis; no complaints will be processed about this and as always the final word will be with the game team.
Self-censored messages do not prevent the author from being banned.

It´s up to the Gamestaff to decide what is offensive and what is to be punished and how.

This is an american community.
Everything has to be written in english.

This includes but is not limited to:

- Profile descriptions
- Guild descriptions
- Ingame messages

Nick- and guildnames can be in a foreign language.

It´s forbidden to name oneself like a member of our staff.
This rules does not appear, if the team member joined the team after you created your account.
It is forbidden in any way to tell an other player that you were a staff member and to try to get any advantage out of it.

Any violation against this rule will be punished with a permanent ban.

Please read the Terms and Conditions as well.
